memories (lives on)

sometimes i feel like im living a meaningless life, this ever changing pursuit of everything and nothing.

When i was sitting at the lagoon seeing little fishes swarming all over the naked spring, leaves falling sharp

towards the body of water and the splash of seemingly tiny drops of hope that this people walking by carries by day by day. Here i am waiting for time to slow down after seeing them walk and turn around.

I just finish installing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and Project:I.G.I. from the download files of my brother. As i wait for it to work i cant help but remember what was my life back 5 years ago. It was 4th grade when our very first computer came into our house. One of few moments that change my life forever. My first exposure to computer gaming and the dawning of the new era has began. It was my technological revolution.

I remember one day coming home from school when my brother called me and say i should see his newly installed game called Counter Strike. Turns out that game will become a cult-classic and sky-rocketed to one of the most popular first person shooter in pc gaming history. Tony Hawk by the way has spawn 10 sequels and Project: Im Going In so far has two though rumors of a third game has been circulating the net since i can remember.

But its not about the games, its a bout the memories. The people i encountered, the people i loved & the people i lost. Its about the sun rising, the moist of morning breeze while drinking your favorite coffee & playing this game when you were just a kid. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I really cant believe i have this games right now. Five years ago i wouldn't even think that i will someday play its entirety again. Its memories lives on. Every time i cut class just to play these things. Every time we stay up late , every crush i had, every friend & classmates, everyone.

Every god damn level that these so called best friend of mine put me through, will always remain. On behalf of my family & friends i dedicate this to my cousin Robert Francis who died of cancer. For every single night i had the pleasure of playing this games w/ him and laugh about it.
